Passing

After several years of osteoporosis and eyesight degeneration, Lorena found herself very fragile and with limited sight. In late 2009 she tripped and fell breaking her hip which would be the defining moment of her decline. Spending months in rehabilitation she finally returned home only to find herself in grave health and unable to move about freely. She would need assistance with mobility for the remainder of her life.
Spending several weeks bedridden with hospice care On September 16, 2010 Lorena finally and gracefully passed through the gates of Glory and joined her family to rest in the arms of her Lord and Savior for eternity.

Lorena Hall Woodall left an enormous legacy and very deep holes in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. She will forever be remembered for the unconditional love and kindness that she gave to all regardless of their character. Her love for God was unwavering and she always made it a point to tell people never to hate anyone because God loves all of us and He said for us to do the same.

Lorena’s funeral was held on September 19,2010 at Joe P Burns funeral home with Pastor Jeff Bryson officiating. She was laid to rest beside her late husband William in Woodlawn Cemetery in downtown Perry, Florida.
